In a world where transportation plays an important role in economic activity and the movement of people and goods professional driving skills are becoming a necessity. However, getting this ability isn't cheap. There are a lot of costs to consider, such as the cost of training and the examination. In Europe, truck drivers need a Code 95 Certificate to drive trucks that weigh more than 7.5 tonnes. The certificate is valid for five years and must be added to the driver's license category C or C+E. You must pass a psychological test and an examination for medical reasons to earn a Code 95 Certificate. Training options

Code 95 is a proof on your driving license that you have completed the training requirements to operate vehicles and trucks professionally. It is possible to spread out the course over the five-year period. The tuition is typically paid for by your employer.

There are two types of training for Code 95: the long course and the shorter course. The long course runs for approximately four weeks long and culminates with a federal exam. After passing the exam you will receive an ID card made of plastic. The card has to be submitted into the database of unified European certificates. The institution where you took your classes will submit it to the database. It takes 14 days to process the card.

The cost of the course is about 2500 PLN, while the examination costs 300 PLN. You'll have to pay an additional fee to the school for them to submit your certificate to the unified European database. Once your card is accepted you can pick it up from the school.

As trainers, you must follow the guidelines to be able to give a class that meets Code 95. You must first submit a plan of training to the CBR. This plan of training must be approved before the start of classes. You will also be required to adhere to other strict guidelines throughout the training.

You will receive an official certificate from the CBR when you have successfully completed the course. The certificate can be mailed to the RDW. After a successful submission you will be able to renew your license with the municipality. If you don't renew your license before the expiry date, you are not allowed to drive buses or trucks professionally for more than 12 hours per week. If you want to drive more than 12 hours per week, you'll have to complete a new training course.

Exams

In order to get the code 95 indication on your licence you must pass both theoretic and practical tests. These exams can be taken independently or in conjunction with the acquiring of the basic category license at a driving school. On successful completion of the test, you will receive a certificate aswell with a code 95 card. The card is valid for 5 years and has to be renewed before the expiry date.

Depending on the course of study and the type of training you choose, you can opt for short or long courses to prepare for the code 95 exam. The long course is about four weeks long and concludes with a test administered by the government. The exam requires you to answer 30 questions about the topics covered in your classes.

You must complete 35 hours of periodic training every five years following passing the code 95 test. You can do this in the country in which you live or work. The instructor will conduct the regularly scheduled training. The CBR offers an online tool to find a teacher. You will receive a certification from both your instructor and CBR when you've completed the course. The CBR will inform the RDW of your completion.

The most popular driving license in Europe is the C-license. Requirements

The new licence style for buses and trucks was introduced in 2011.
